Paris Hilton Talks Turning 30

She's been a mainstay in the Hollywood social scene since her teen years, and now Paris Hilton is gearing up to turn 30 years old.

The "Simple Life" babe will hit the big 3-0 on February 17th and it doesn't sound like she's too thrilled about  it.

Paris told press, "It's scary," during the NBC Golden Globes shindig in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.

However, Miss Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits seem to have found a way to get past the fear. "We're planning a lot of big parties around it. I'm so excited!"

Recently Paris and her sister Nicki were seen having a ball at the Weinstein Company/Relativity Media's post- Golden Globes fete.

Though they weren't up for any awards, the famous sisters showed up looking lovely in their designer duds as they posed for the paparazzi.

Meanwhile, it looks like Paris is going to be cashing in on the world of reality TV once again. Extra reports that the 29-year-old is going to be featured on her own show, titled "The World According to Paris".

"I've never given this much access to any camera crew in my life," Hilton explained, adding, "We shoot from the moment I wake up until I go to bed, so it's everything that's happening in that day. There's a lot of drama that goes on."

And according to Extra, some of that drama will include Paris' mom Kathy and her new BFF Brooke Mueller.

Commenting on the forecasted scenario, Hilton said, "My mom was friends with her. They're actually closer than we are. I thought Brooke would be a great character because she has no filter, she just says what's on her mind."

Last week the heiress was busy helping aunt Kyle Richards ring in another year when she attended a birthday bash for the Real Housewives star in Los Angeles (January 11).

Paris was joined by her beau, Cy Waits, sister Nicky and her beau David Katzenberg, parents Rick and Kathy, as well as Charlie Sheen's ex, Brooke Mueller.

As for the evening doings, the elite group met up at Kyle's very own Mexican restaurant called Frida at the Americana Mall and gave the paparazzi plenty of shops as they all stopped to pose out front before heading inside.

And, as usual, Paris updated her fans and followers via Twitter. She wrote, "Had such a fun night at @KyleRichards18 birthday dinner. Love my aunt! She's the best!"
