2pm - park jae bum please come back______

Park Jaebum (also spelled in English-language sites as Park Jae Beom or Jaebeom) has quit the popular boy band 2PM following inflammatory remarks posted to his Myspace page when he first moved to South Korea from his native USA as a teenager.

Park Jaebum announced his resignation on the band's website (Korean language).

Recently, it became known that the singer had written critical remarks on the social network site with the following messages:

"Korea is gay. I hate Koreans. I wanna come back. Korea is whack, but everyone thinks I'm like the illest rapper wen i suck nuts at rappin."

The remarks were posted just after Park Jaebum arrived in South Korea as a trainee for JYP Entertainment, which ended up signing Park Jae Beom as part of One Day, which later slit into 2PM and 2AM.

In the years that followed, 2PM and 2AM rose to fame, and Park Jaebum's earlier remarks came back to hurt him.

Just hours after the posting of the message, he got onboard a Korean Air plane in the evening. Hundreds of his fans packed the terminal at the airport yelling: ``Don’t Go, Don’t Go!’’ Jae-beom reportedly gave a big bow as a goodbye to his fans, most of whom were in tears.

I'm so pissed right now, Heard about this last night and couldn't sleep all night! What has Korea come to? I swear half the time it seems like the country is run by these crazy anti-fans who has nothing better to do that ruin other people lives. He was a fricken TEEN! My brother says the word gay with every other sentence!

JAE WILL FOREVER BE THE LEADER. NO ONE CAN REPLACE HIM. WITHOUT HIM IT’S NOT EVEN 2PM RIGHT NOW WHAT THE EFF. OMG THIS MORNING WHEN I READ MY FACEBOOK I SAW A FRIEND THAT WROTE ” JAY PLEASE DON’T QUIT 2PM” ON HER HOW I’M FEELING TODAY BOX, I THOUGHT SHE JUST SAID IT. AND THEN I FIND OUT THAT IT’S REALLY TRUE AND STARTED BALLING MY EYES OUT LITERALLY. ESPEICALLY WHEN I SAW FANCAMS OF HIM LEAVING FOR SEATTLE. I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO THINK RIGHT NOW.. FANS ARE SO STUPID. THEY REALIZE AFTER IT’S TOO LATE. I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MYSELF RIGHT NOW.. BUT HOPEFULLY ENOUGH FANS WILL STILL SUPPORT HIM SO THAT HE CAN COME BACK! JAY I LOVE YOU! WITHOUT YOU, 2PM WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! The 2pm are nothing with Jaebeom oppa. They need him.Jaebeom fighting2pm fighting. Please come back we will wait for you.

Being from USA, I realized that this was posted in many articles and News Channels. I just feel bad for Park Jae, because he obviously wants privacy but he has fans in his neighborhood so it must be pretty hard for him. I think the airplane was sent for fans to show support but maybe they didn't realize that they can show support by leaving him alone for a bit. I think he just needs sometime to think about what he really wants and he'll probably come back to the band cause he has gotten so much success there xD. In general I think fans just try to show support to celebs in harsh times,Park Jae's fans also did the same thing but I think we need to leave him alone for a bit :P He's defnitely un replaceable , and is most likely to return to the band one day.

Korean antis were just being stupid here...WTF. Seriously who the eff cares about what people wrote on their myspace??!! It's MYSPACE for christ's sake!! National issue over a myspace comment, LMAO stupidest thing EVER to be on the media. You gotta be kidding me!!Some one in Korea had NO LIFE whatsoever that he dug up stuff from several years ago to destroy a whole lot of people's life (not only Jae's, but his group members' and fan's).

Obviously, the antis aren't very forgiving. That is why they are labeled nezitens. They look for any reason, any opening they can find to drag someone down. They don't care that a celebrity's life is ruined. Seeing someone popular fall from fame makes them happy and feel better about their own ordinary lives. It's sad how vindictive some people can be. Rather than focusing on others, why not focus on your own life first? If you antis have so much time on your hands, why not take care of your family, strenthen your relationships with friends and those around you first, rather than wasting your time hounding celebrities and throwing stones at them? Seriously, have you nothing better to do? Do you not have any family that you can spend time with or any friends you can hang out with? Do you have nothing going for you in your life that you have to spend all your free time following celebrities around just to torment them? What normal human being behaves like this? It's shameful.I'm aware that Koreans are a very proud race and I agree that Jaebum's comments were rude and hurtful to many Koreans. However, he apologized and gave reasons as to why he made those comments. He was young, rebelious, and niaive (as most teenagers are) when those comments were published. He was frustrated and he felt unaccepted in Korea. He was an outsider and had a hard time adjusting. Those were his thoughts and feeling at the time he was enduring hardships in Korea. They are not his thoughts and feelings now. Recently he has issued an apology stating that his views are no longer what they were when he was young. He has learned to understand and love the country over the course of time he spent in Korea. The antis don't take his age into account when he made those initial hurtful remarks. If you look at all of his posts back then, they're obviously the words of an immature teenager who doesn't think before speaking or writing. Every adult was a teen at some point in their life and should understand that being young often means putting your foot in your mouth every now and then and regretting it sometime down the road. At that age, he probably didn't think it would come back to him and he was foolish to have those comments be publicized on the internet. Now that he's older and wiser, and he has matured and grown to love his people. I doubt that he will ever say anything as rude as the comments he made during his teenage years. He has made it abundantly clear that he was young and foolish back then and he is sincerely sorry. What more do you want from the guy? Come on Koreans, give Jaebum a chance to redeem himself. Geez, even if you don't care about him personally, think about what the country could be losing in the form of talent. He's got so much to give and he hasn't even reached his full potential yet. You don't know what types of contributions he can still make towards the enrtainment industry. Give him a chance and he might surprise you.
