Patrick Farrow, the elder brother of actress and human rights activist Mia Farrow, committed suicide in Castleton, Vermont at the age of 66.

Vermont State police confirmed on Wednesday that Patrick Farrow "died of a single gunshot wound to the head late Monday night".

Patrick Farrow's body was discovered on the premises of the Farrow Gallery and Studios on Monday night after a woman telephoned 911 to alert police.

Patrick V. Farrow was a longtime sculptor and artist who ran the Farrow Gallery with his wife Susan Farrow in Castleton.

Patrick Farrow's death has resurrected questions about the death of Lark Previn, one of his sister Mia Farrow's adopted daughter.

Vermont State Police tell the Burlington Free Press that officers arrived at the Farrow Gallery and Studios after receiving a 911 call from a woman, whose identity was not released, at around 11:30 p.m.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Burlington will be conducting an autopsy, after which more information will be available, police said.
