Patti Blagojevich To Join I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Here
Patti Blagojevich, the wife of disgraced ex-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, may take part int the NBC reality TV show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.
Mrs. Blagojevich claims that she will appear on the program along with other Z-list celebrities to raise money for her husband's legal fees. Blagojevich is currently fighting corruption charges stemming from his effort to sell Barack Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder.
Rod Blagojevich was invited to join the show, which will be filmed in Costa Rica, but a federal judge did not allow him to leave the country. Now, it looks like Patti Blagojevich will take his place. Patti lost her job after her husband's arrest and her appearance on the show could help pay for her husband's defense.
The NBC show, which is based on the popular British show of the same name, features low-grade celebrities trapped in an isolated area a la Survivor.
Patti Blagojevich would join other pseudo-stars such as Stephen Baldwin, American Idol moppet Sanjaya Malakar, and Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from The Hills.
