Paula Abdul Meltdown on X-Factor USA: Who Got Kicked Off
Paula Abdul Melts Down on X-Factor USA: November 10, 2011 (Video)
The November 3, 2011 edition of X-Factor sent home another contestant. The talent show has started to pick up momentum over the last few weeks as the competition has pared down to 11 groups.
It was a rough night for Paula Abdul on X-Factor USA. Abdul had a total meltdown during the elimination, with Lakoda Rayne and Stereo Hogzz in the bottom two. This is the second week in a row that Paula Abdul was forced to choose between two of her own groups for elimination.

Paula Abdul melted down in the middle of the show, grinding the proceedings to a halt by refusing to vote for either group. Host Steve Jones was stuck in the middle, trying to get an answer out of Abdul, not knowing how long it would take.
The Paula Abdul meltdown video made it to YouTube, of course. You can see it below.
Paula Abdul finally voted for Lakoda Rayne in an effort to keep the Stereo Hogz on the show. Alas, to no avail... Stereo Hogzz were eliminated from X-Factor USA.
Stereo Hogzz sang Michael Jackson's "You Are Not Alone" for their survival song; Lakoda Rayne sang "No Air" by Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks.
The judges backed Paula Abdul after the broadcast, and even Simon Cowell didn't make fun of her. In fact, Paula thanked Simon specifically for his "compassion".
Fellow judge L.A. Reid was also sympathetic to Abdul's sticky situation. "What was going through my mind is: 'I'm glad it wasn't me,' because Paula's put in so much time with these contestants. She really mentored them. She did not delegate responsibilities to others.

I am into this show because 1) my nephew Mathew Radcliffe owns the burrito restaurant where he employs Josh, and 2) Josh is from my home town and he is a tremendous talent.
As for Paula's breakdown, remember she had similar emotional problems on American Idol that led to her drinking and being drunk on the air. Also, she is deeply attached to the performers as she is a producer as are other celebrity judges and the host.
I think Paula's dancing with the contestants from her seat is very distracting.

FACT: If Paula was "drunk" the producers would have had her fired. This is after-all about money. Paula's "emotional problems" as you say, are a combination of your personal judgement of "strong empathy" and your conscious or unconscious ableist discrimination. People do not often speak about her disability.Problem: Your opinions are based in your observations of "reality tv" and gossip media. .
