Perez Hilton sues Polo Molina, Black Eyed Peas Manager

Perez Hilton has filed a civil lawsuit to sue Polo Molina, the Black Eyed Peas manager who he claims assaulted him on video after the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto on Sunday. Perez is suing him for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The lawsuit is worth $25,000.

The suit states Hilton is seeking to protect his rights to free speech and claims Molina attacked him because he made critical comments about the Black Eyed Peas' new album.

Polo Molina was arrested for the incident on Monday, but the band's publicist has not issued a statement on the matter yet.

It is thought that Molina punched Hilton in the face after an altercation between Hilton and Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am.
