PETA Obama Fly Swat Response: Katcha Humane Bug Catcher

PETA, responding to the Obama fly swat (some would call it a summary execution), have, in their continuing grasp towards relevance, sent the President a Katcha humane bug catcher (a fly-trapping device), while stating on their blog that they're not the ones making a big deal about it. Okay.

Anyway, the device doesn't look too conducive to the on-the-move lifestyle of the leader of the free world.

Though one wonders what sort of response it would draw to have the prez show up with a secret service detail armed to the teeth  with non-lethal insect control devices. But hey- they can katcha bug.

But now People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, calling it an "execution," wants the commander-in-chief to show a little more compassion to even "the least sympathetic animals."

Would PETA execs be so gentle, though, if they were in Gordie LaChance's shoes in that swamp in Stand By Me?

Get serious! Get a life PETA. These disease carrying insects need to be controlled and kept from places of habitation. They do make great food for our pet frogs and turtles.

I am sure that the peta Katcha would be good to trap spiders if you did not have a plastic cup handy, but anyone who has ever swatted flies will see the Katcha, as a fly catcher, is a complete fraud.
