Leave to the PETA provocateurs to use web 2.0 guerrila tactics for a hilariously subversive purpose. The latest iteration of their anti-fur-wearing-celebrity campaigns employs social media and networking sites to call out the Olsen twins for their nasty animal habits. The new anti-Olsen site "Meet the Trollsens" is a targeted attack on the identical twins and is already catching on with a young demographic. On the PETA-made 'Trollsen' MySpace page, "more than 950 people had signed up to be "friends" of the
twins and submitted comments of support aimed at PETA."

In its latest celebrity-bashing brouhaha, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals is pelting fur-toting twins Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen with a whole lot of hate for their animal-wearing ways by launching a new Web site poking fun at the pair.

The site introduces users to "Hairy Kate" and "Trashley Trollsen," two zombie-faced, cartoon twins wearing furs and smattered in blood, and even provides a video of a show they star in called "Full House of Horrors." The show consists of edited segments from the show that put the Olsen twins on the map, "Full House," and has a character named "Futureman" showing the then-toddlers how they'd bring havoc to animals in the future.

PETA chose the Olsen twins because of they've refused to stop wearing furs, and have even added fur-lined products in their fashion line, The Row. The site includes an interactive forum where users can send letters of disapproval to the Olsen twins in hopes of having them stop producing the furry fashion line.

Visitors can also "dress up" Hairy Kate and Trashley in various garments made up of animal parts and smeared in blood.

I had so much fun with all the blood drippin'

I hope that this campaign could reach the twins so they could stop wearing and sellin' fur.

Good point - I wonder if the Olsen twins themselves will hear about this? And will it have any impact on their attitude?

These two have been washed up for so long I'm sure nothing will get to them. They would sell their own parents down the river for a quick buck. Theres no life in these 2 worthless fools, just a couple hands up theirs asses making their lips move. I mean look at em they look like total crash test dummies!  I dont expect they will ever change their greedy ruthless explotation but maybe atleast one day they will feel somewhat guilty about it.
