 Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's tied the knot with UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur on December 14.

The couple had private dinner at a banquet hall in Juhu on Tuesday evening followed by another private mehndi ceremony on Wednesday.

None of the Bollywood celebrities were part of the marriage festivities. During mehndi actress Rekha was the only one from Bollywood to be present.
As per some reports, it was a sangeet ceremony. But close family members denied saying that it is just a private ceremony but not a sangeet.


 The wedding ceremony on December 14 has been as per Tamil traditions at a temple in Chembur. Vidya's family members from South India came to Mumbai in a big bus and they carried some special souvenirs on their way back. 
Despite being tired after mehndi ceremony, Vidya obliged by posing with Siddharth for the cameras as the media persons had insisted when she was leaving.
