Up Pixar teaser trailer

Pixar's done it again! Up has been garnering a lot of attention since the trailer first hit the web and the movie is already receiving raving reviews from critics and audiences alike.

By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn't alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

So that's the plot for you. The whimsical animated film received a 98% rating from the notoriously critical rottentomatoes.com and the consesus validates the tomatometer score.

Another masterful work of art from Pixar, Up is an exciting, hilarious, and heartfelt adventure impeccably crafted and told with wit and depth.

Famed film critic Roger Ebert praised Pixar's latest, sure-to-be-classic jewel.

The adventures on the jungle plateau are satisfying in a Mummy/ Tomb Raider/Indiana Jones sort of way. But they aren't the whole point of the film. This isn't a movie like "Monsters vs. Aliens," which is mostly just frenetic action. There are stakes here, and personalities involved, and two old men battling for meaning in their lives. And a kid who, for once, isn't smarter than all the adults. And a loyal dog. And an animal sidekick. And always that house and those balloons.

Be sure to get into the theater early as the Toy Story 3 trailer will be debuted before the screening. Also, keep an eye out for clues to the third installment of the Toy Story series in the movie itself, Pixar is notorious for hiding sneak peeks and subtly linking their flicks.

With seemingly every review coming in be even more glowing than the last don't be surprised if the Academy is 'down' with Up.

Way Way too sad. I was stunned at how deep this movie was. Thank God the kids were too young to know what was going on. I mean come on, did they really need to show the part where the couple is in the doctor's office crying because they cant have a baby? I am not a movie cryer. But dang I cried from start to finish. The old man was very close to his wife and he was sad through the whole movie without her. Like Heather saids in her review...the happy parts werent enough to make you forget about the sad parts. I get depressed every time I think of this movie. Had such great potential too.
