Legendary opera singer Plácido Domingo is returning to Berlin this spring, Die Welt reported on Thursday. The world-renowned tenor will be back at the Berlin State Opera (Staatsoper Unter den Linden) this March to perform "Parsifal."
Domingo will assume the starring role in Richard Wagner's "Parcifal" in early March in place of Nikolai Schukoff, according to the paper. Domingo has appeared in Berlin on several occasions, including his first performance in 1967 at the German National Opera (Deutsche Oper) and in 1993 at the State Opera.
Tickets can be ordered at Deutsch Opera's Online site. They generally run between 75 and 150 EUR per ticket, depending on seating and Event.
