A Pretty Hip, Ex-Hippie Vegas Pastor
PRETTY HIP EX-HIPPIE VEGAS PASTOR
While he was in a hippie commune back East in the 70s, Scott Lamb was the last person most would have thought could become the Pastor of a 350 member church in Las Vegas.
But when a "hell-raising" buddy suddenly became a Jesus Freak and Scott cam home to find his 55 year old alcoholic father pouring all the booze in the house down the drain, this hippie decided it was time for him to find out if God was for real or not.
Three decades later, this ex-hippie's life has been refined and his positive message is a magnet for the troubled young folks looking for a better life in Las Vegas. As Pastor of the Potter's House Christian Church on West Sahara, Rev. Lamb roars loudly with his own testimony at community outreach events where his members help feed the hungry, bring clothes and necessities to low income residents, plus provide positive entertainment with Pastor Scott's mobile music mini concerts where he plays an awesome guitar and sings his fun version of "The Good News Blues".
We videoed part of his performance at the church's Memorial Day Festival in the Rainbow Family Park. Wow! This Ex-Hippie Pastor has real soul, inside and out. Take it from this pro-musician of 4 decades, if Scott Lamb's career leading the flock ever gets lean, this smokin' guitar picker could find a steady gig with almost any band here in Vegas.
So next time you come to Sin City to go to one of those trendy dance clubs or to catch a big headliner act at a major hotel, don't dare miss the Best Sunday Morning Show in Vegas featuring Scott Lamb at the Potter's House Showroom.
