Previously unheard 1963 Beatles concert tape unveiled on BBC

British newspaper the News and Star reported Saturday that a previously unknown Beatles concert tape from 1963 taped by a fan was premiered in the UK by BBC Radio Cumbria.

The tape, taken from a Nov. 21, 1963 concert by the Beatles at the ABC Cinema Carlisle. was taped by John Wilson, the paper, the News and Star, said. Wilson told the paper the tape had a lot of screaming girls on it.

“I didn't actually think the Beatles were really good, but I had a girlfriend,” he told the BBC on the show.
