Two Official Prince William and Kate Middleton Engagement Photos Have Been Released to the Media

The photos were taken by famous photographer Mario Testino, and were sent by Prince William's press office and distributed by the Press Association.

They pair got engaged on October 20 in Kenya and the official engagement photos were taken on November 25 at St. James' Palace in London.

"They are in their prime and brimming with happiness," Testino said. "I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together."

The wedding has been scheduled for April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey and it will be a national holiday.

It's strange...........for the informal photo William looks like he is brimming with happiness and Kate looks like she is getting squashed inside William's embrace and then in the formal photo Kate looks like a fashion model and William looks like he is his own wax model at Madam Tussands. Whereas I personally think Mario brought the best out of Diana in all his photos. But good luck to the couple. At least they know each other well enough so there won't be any big surprises for either of them after the wedding. I just hope Kate doesn't wear Diana's wedding dress...I really hope not...hopefully the wedding dress is by her favourite Brazilian designer.
