Project Runway Season 6 Scoop

The wait is over, fellow Project Runway addicts. Project Runway Season 6 premiered on Lifetime on Thursday.

Now airing on a mew network Lifetime instead of Bravo, the show is ready to commence its hunt for the next great fashion designer. With the same host, the same judges, the same mentor, it is hard to not notice the same desperate, drama-queen expressions on the new set of 16 contestants, who only bears one thing in mind - making the cut for New York Fashion Week.

In addition to the familiar faces of Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, the panel brings on a guest judge - party-animal, celeb-star Lindsay Lohan, whom supermodel host Hedi Klum described, "has spent a lot of time on the red carpet." The show's presenter, Tim Gunn, also added, "She was absolutely wonderful, she knows clothes, she knows what she likes, what she doesn't and she's able to articulate that,"

After saying farewells to New York's Parsons School and moving to L.A.'s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, the show once again included a diverse cast of designers.

...ranging from a recovering crystal-meth addict (who needs a hug from Tim Gunn to make it through the first challenge) and a Southern belle to a 45-year-old Yugoslavian-born shop owner who says, “If you give me a sheep, I can make you a sveater.” And we can't forget Ari Fish of Kansas City, who bloggers early on tagged as the resident kook for her "transformative" clothing.

The first challenge for the designers was to design a red carpet dress that could showcase their design perspectives. They were each given measurements for their assigned models, asked to sketch, and shuttled off to shop with a budget of $200. A surprise came to them in the eleventh hour when they had to style up an outfit from materials found in a downtown NYC restaurant.

In the end, among the top four contestants including Korto, Sweet P., Chris March, and Daviel Vosovic, Daniel V. got the grand prize.

Undoubtedly, millions of viewers have wondered how the elimination could possibly play as Project Runway's season 6 episode 3 came to a close. Project Runway Season 6 Episode 3, the next entry series about people who make ridiculous clothes that no one would wear, and most of the time look awful, was chock full of suspense. The series, which switched to the Lifetime Network, is really popular – and this time Ra'Mon (oh, how we never tire of people whose names are grammatical errors) and Mitchell won, but since Mitchell didn't do anything was set home.He may need paycheck loans now, but Lifetime won't with Project Runway Season 6 Episode 3 ad revenue.
