After Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi film Balak Palak received a decent response from audiences, comes another interesting Marathi film – Pune 52. The trailers of Pune 52 created the right buzz, including an endorsement by director Anurag Kashyap, and the movie was well received at the 14th Mumbai Film Festival last year.

Based in post-liberalisation 1992, Pune 52 is directed by Nikhil Mahajan. It shows the life of a private detective who gets caught up in a complex case that eventually affects his married life.

Pune 52 Storyline and Movie Review

The film, said to be based on a detective known to Mahajan, is co-produced by Girish Kulkarni, Valu director Umesh Kulkarni, Abhay Gadgil and Shrirang Godbole.
