Queen plans to record new album with voice of Freddie Mercury
If we thought we had all seen and heard about the British band Queen, we are mistaken. Plan again, and this time it seems to be serious, rumors of the release of a new album by the band, with the voice of Freddie Mercury himself.
Each time that in a meeting of friends are remembered old times, new anecdote appears that we had stored in the back of our minds. This must be what has happened with guitarist Bryan May and drummer Roger Taylor, recalling historical moments with the group Queen and open the trunk of memories. But, surprise, it seems that among all the good times, there are still memories for dusting. Queen unreleased songs that had already forgotten.
The members of the band have wasted no time and are working on the possible release of an album with these songs, in which we would find musical material with Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson, recorded among the albums "Hot Space" (1982) and "The Works" (1984), 'demos' with the voice of the leader of the group, and incomplete and unfinished songs that were discarded for the album "Made in Heaven" (1995). A great treasure kept in oblivion in the history of music.
Bryan May said in an interview at iHeart Radio, that "we thought we had exhausted everything it had, the material that could be worked, but since then several things came to light". In one of his philosophical and transcendental reflexions, said: "Should we not work only in small songs and pieces. Should not we perhaps go to a album?. Could be."
Guitarist further stated that within two months "there will be something new to hear people", referring to the new material found of the British band. We have to wait, possibly until Christmas of this year, in order to hear the "new" by Queen, with Freddie Mercury lead, once again, the band, wherever the singer is.
Bryan May tried to resurrect Queen in 2005, with the British singer Paul Rodgers, but commented that it was not to replace the late Freddie Mercury, they released an album, "The Cosmos Rocks" (2008) and begun a tour in September of that year they called Rock The Cosmos.
One of the most important for members of the band and for hardcore fans of Queen, was to remind the group during the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in London 2012, which through several screens could see Freddie Mercury in a fragment at Wembley concert in 1986. In this video, the singer encouraged the audience to repeat the notes he sang. Then a part of "Brighton Rock" was performed on stage by Brian May on his guitar, which he joined Roger Taylor to play "We Will Rock You" with singer Jessie J.
Will we see a new world tour of Queen with Freddie Mercury reincarnated as a hologram, to make vibrate again stadiums over half the world? Everything is possible with the new technologies.
