Quilt from Cappadocia Turkey !

Photo and quilting are my hobby's and I just love to travel . Cappadocia in Turkey is one of my favorite places.It is a very spesial and beautiful place as you can see in my photo's. Like a fairytale. My second trip lead me into one of the special " houses ". A family is still living there and the tourist's can come and have a look inside. What did I see ?? Wow...quilt's on the wall.Very old . Of course I take a photo. So very special. Never seen any like this. Later, back in Norway....hmmm ..yes..why not . I will try to make my own cappadocia quilt. With one of my photo's too.Using special paper, print it and transfer it to cotton. So I did and here is the result ! It was so fun to make it and it's only one in the world....mine. Get inspired quilting ladyes'.Thank's to the one who make the original quilt.

Sidsel Oba, I like this story. It's good stuff. like the other very interesting places in the rest of the country, cappadocia too is a tourist's delight. i have been there and seen what you describe. also to the underground cities there made by the christians to escape roman persecution.
