Rachel Weisz Talks "The Bourne Legacy" & Life in NYC
With her new movie "The Bourne Legacy" set to hit theaters on August 3rd, Rachel Weisz pitched in on promotions by taking over the cover of the Summer 2012 issue of C Magazine.
The 42-year-old actress looked charming on the Williams & Hirakawa shot front page while talking about her upcoming action film as well as seeking out the perfect role and life in NYC.
Highlights from Miss Weisz's interview are as follows.
On life in the Big Apple:
“Everyone moans about the city changing and becoming gentrified, but I think the East Village still has a little edge and also has a community.”
On her upcoming film 'The Bourne Legacy':
“[Jason Bourne is] in the periphery of the story, but it’s about a new military program and I am thrown together with Jeremy Renner‘s character by circumstance, because, well, we need each other.”
On how she goes about searching for new roles:
“I want to always feel like it’s a stretch and that I’m not quite sure I can pull it off. And I think that is truly the right reaction … I used to get really affected by my work, but when you have a kid, you have to come home and be there mentally. When the director says ‘cut,’ it’s all make-believe, and strangely enough, that took me a little bit of time to work out.”
On top of her C Magazine cover and its accompanying feature, Rachel Weisz also landed on the front page of British Vogue this month.
The "Dream House" actress looks enchanting in a Celine cashmere jumper for the floral-inspired shoot, which was snapped by Alasdair McLellan.
Set to hit newsstands on June 4th, the newest installment of the publication has been dubbed the "Ageless Style Issue".
Other highlights of British Vogue's latest offering include features on Ricky Lauren, Miranda Kerr and Karen Elson.
