Rahul Mahajan was looking for a wife and the final show for the TV show called Rahul Ka Swayamwar on NDTV aired after 84 days with the three final contestants, Nikunj Malik, 25, Dimpy Ganguly, 21 and Harpreet Chhabra, 21.
There were some rumors that Rahul Mahajan strongly favors Dimpy Ganguly as their chemistry is the strongest and those rumors turned out to be true.
The three women were all judged over the past 84 days on their cooking abilities, their family values, their relationship with Rahul Mahajan and their dance abilities, but they have also undergone dance lessons along with their mothers to make them better dancers.
Just like the American Bachelor show, Rahul Mahajan has spent time with the three womens' families and got to know them better before he makes his final decision.
Rahul Mahajan Swayamvar will take place in a hotel in sub urban Mumbai.
There has been some controversy however over Rahul Mahajan's passport to go on his honeymoon after the show is over as he wants to take his new wife Dimpy to the Maldives from March 9th to March 30th, but his passport is currently with the courts as he was charged with possession of drugs. He has filed an appeal but the court has not decided yet.

Hey.....grow up...they are the perfect match,and i dont think rahul is a wife bitter.....he is a gentlemen,and yes he got the girl he deserves,nikung was just horrible,full of jealousy and hatred ,she is just like a ........... to me.i dont like her.Rahul has taken the right decision on chosing Dimpy coz i believe she can be a perfect wife for rahul,jaspreet is nice but she is just 20yrs so its good for her not to get married so soon,i wish her good luck.

Dimpy is really a sober, nice, down to earth girl. She is real beauty with brains. true, harpreet would have been a good choice but that would have been tragic..not at all fair to do that to such a sweet girl..nikunj wasn't dood ki dulhi but atleast she didn't behave as dimpy did..her arrogance could have been due to flirty rahuls behaviour/constantly being attacked by the other jealous girls and at the end of the day she was more educated than dimpy atleast, obviously better looking from a desi prospective ie; fair, tall, saleekai wali/classy rather than behaving trashily all the time and getting drunk all the time...yeah, swati was a respectable version of badmaash dimpy, might have been abit too quiet for him though and it wouldnt have been fair for her to go from one abusive relationship to another..if only it had been priyadarshini...dirty rahul ka damaagh chaatthi rehti!dirty rahul to paaagal rrrahul!
