Rajesh Khanna hail and hearty say's Dimple Kapadia, waves at fans

Bollywood's yesteryear superstar, Rajesh Khanna, who has fallen ill, is now doing fine. The actor came out to greet his fans and media from the balcony of his house on June 21, 2012.

He was accompanied by his ex-wife Dimple Kapadia, as well as his son-in-law, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.

Actor Akshay Kumar (who is married to his elder daughter Twinkle Khanna) told reporters outside Khanna’s bungalow "Ashirwad" in Bandra that his father-in-law is more than fine.

Fans of India’s first superstar lined up outside his house. Dressed in a crisp white kurta, a stole and dark shades, Rajesh Khanna happily obliged by waving to them and showing them the ‘V’ for victory sign from the balcony of his house.

Though heavily bearded and looking weak, the actor seemed to be in high spirits as he sported his trademark smile. Dimple Kapadia and Akshay Kumar take regular care of him nowadays.

He thanked fans for their concern and prayers. Earlier it was reported that the veteran actor had stopped food intake for the “last three or four days”.
