Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja tied the knot with girl friend Upasana Kamineni in Hyderabad on Thursday, June 14, 2012. See photos gallery.

Upasana wore a Tarun Tahiliani designed yellow and gold silk sari with a swarovski encrusted border and embellished with zardosi French knots and a sprinkle of tiny soldered stones.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and South Indian actors Mohan Babu, Ambreesh, Venkatesh, and Suhasini Mani Ratnam were the high profile celebrities who were spotted at the wedding.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Telugu Desham party chief Chandrababu Naidu, Tamil Nadu's Governor Konijeti Rosaiah and actor Jr NTR were among the first arrivals.

The pre-wedding sangeet ceremony was held at the Mehboob Studios on June 12, 2012. See the photos.

NDTV.com reported, "Ram Charan wore a Tarun Tahiliani sherwani. Hours before the wedding the Magadheera actor tweeted his excitement: "Will be entering into a new life in couple of hours. really excited and need all ur blessings. Love u all."

Ram Teja had said in an interview last week, "The wedding on June 14 is for family and friends. That's expected to be attended by around 4,000 people.

"Then the same evening we're hosting a reception for around 7,000 guests. The next morning we'll go through another wedding followed by lunch for my fans. We expect 4,000 people.

"But I suspect there will be a lot more people. And wait. It doesn't end there. On June 15 evening we're hosting a reception for the staff and family of the Apollo group of hospitals."

The couple was engaged on December 1, 2011 at a family friend's farm house in the outskirts of Hyderabad. See the engagement photos.
