After seeing Randy Hansen for more than two decades, I just had to make my headline's statement.  On a Saturday evening in May of 2010, we went to a musical fundraiser for public school music programs.  Alan White, drummer for Yes and John Lennon hosted a fabulous evening of great music from a wide range of performers.  Mr. Hansen was playing bass for a set of music from Heart's, originial lead guitarist, Roger Fisher.

During an intermission during the show, we were out in front by the marquee.  Mr. Hansen was speaking with other musicians and fans.  I asked my wife to please take our picture only if it would be all-right with Randy.  Mr. Hansen was more than gracious and enjoyed hearing an anecdotal tale from my reflection about one of his grand, past performances!  If you ever have the opportunity to meet Randy, I highly recommend it.  You will meet an individual who is so gracious because he has truly, lived, breathed, and spirtualized Jimi's music.  As Jimi spoke of his concept of the "Electric Church," Mr. Hansen surely has been a meaningful disciple.
