Rapper DMX arrested for speeding

It's not the first time DMX's been caught speeding, and likely, not his last.

Rapper DMX was arrested Tuesday by Arizona police on a laundry list of motor vehicle charges stemming from a January incident where cameras caught him driving 114 mph on a local highway.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was charged with racing on a highway, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment and three counts of criminal speed and driving on a suspended license.

This lastest arrest occurred while DMX was out on bail.

"Mr. Simmons wasn't signaled out because of his notoriety, we have made several arrests in the last few months of those people who flagrantly violate the speed limit and therefore endanger the lives of everyone else on the road," Roger Vanderpool, director of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, said in a statement.

Photos of rapper DMX performing at Liberty Hall in Lawrence, KS. My favorite thing about shooting DMX was paying attention to the way the stage lights hit his body. The curves of his muscles transformed hard masculinity into exquisite line and form, much like the rapper himself. DMX bring an "in your face" aesthetic to his music, but on stage he would pause, coaxing the audience to actually listen to what he was saying. DMX is truly a modern-day poet using rap as a medium for his spoken words.
