Rattlejag Morris at Mansfield Woodhouse
The 1st March saw the town of Mansfield Woodhouse in North
Nottinghamshire celebrate the 100 years since the opening of its Turner
Hall. Named after the land agent of the Duke of Portland - who had
suggested the idea of a parochial hall - it has been in use ever since.
These
talented Morris Men from Retford, who specialise in dances from
Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, certainly helped with their energetic
display
