The results are in! Those traditional Oscar precursors the Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzies) have been awarded for 2008. If Lindsay Lohan was looking for a successful award season, her wish has come true as her star vehicle I Know Who Killed Me, dominates the proceedings with an unprecedented eight wins.

Worst Picture: I Know Who Killed Me

Worst Actor: Eddie Murphy

Worst Actress: Lindsay Lohan

Worst Supporting Actor: Eddie Murphy

Worst Supporting Actress: Eddie Murphy (such are the pitfalls of playing multiple characters)

Worst Screen Couple: Lindsay Lohan and herself (I haven't seen I Know Who Killed Me, so I don't get this one)

Worst Remake/Rip-Off: I Know Who Killed Me

Worst Sequel: Daddy Day Camp

Worst Director: Chris Siverston (I Know Who Killed Me)

Worst Screenplay: Jeffrey Hammond (I Know Who Killed Me)

Worst Excuse for a Horror Movie: I Know Who Killed Me (This is a new category, it would seem)

Razzies are voted on by anyone who becomes a member of the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation. Membership costs 25 bucks and includes an invitation to the actual awards ceremony. (I am not a member, nor am I affiliated with the Razzies)

I love best of the worst awards shows (who doesn't laugh when someone gets hurt?), like the Ig Nobel Prizes, The Golden Turkey Awards, or the somewhat related Pigasus Award.
