Trailer for Red Dawn Remake Finally Hits the Web

At long last, here's the first trailer for Red Dawn, that paranoid-jingoistic teen-militia flick from the Eighties. The Red Dawn remake was finished in 2009, but MGM's bankruptcy kept it from distribution. Since then, star Chris Hemsworth has found fame in Thor, The Avengers, and Cabin in the Woods.

Instead of the Russians, the Chinese were cast as the villains. However, MGM thought better of such a move after China complained, and digitally altered the baddies' insignias to read as North Korean. The actors themselves, who are from all over Asia: the "Chinese army" wasn't all Chinese to begin with, since Hollywood can't really tell Asian ethnicities apart.

Here's the Red Dawn 2012 trailer: worth the wait?
