the red pill blue pill moment has arrived

on this dull and rainy Sunday afternoon i sit here in Toronto where the city workers are on the 11th day of a management forced strike.  garbage piles up and friction is high between the strikers and the public who have taken the city's view that their own city workers are being paid too much money and have too many benefits.

a couple of hundred miles down the road in another city called Windsor their city workers are on their 73rd day of a city instigated work stoppage over the exact same issue of worker pay and benefits

these two strikes are part of a coordinated attack by the power structures who really run the province to once again pick up the attack on working people - the goal of which is to make them work for less and less money/benefits thereby reducing them to peasants, unable to make decisions about their lives based on any other consideration other than their ability to pay

the public is siding with the city managers with no small thanks to the corporate/main stream media who have i think created a parallel reality through the television system whereby the pubic is misinformed and mislead through lies and exaggerations 

the media in North America, i assume the situation is similar in the UK and elsewhere, is owned by five corporations

these corporations exist to make money and they create rules and legalities to do so through the legal system but they impart the propaganda through the media

through the media our lives and our sensibilities have become distorted

eample: while the American marines - enforcement agents of American corporations - are killing peasants in afghanistan in president obama's "right war" we are deluged with 24/7 coverage of michael jackson's funeral

bait and switch

the concept of "full spectrum dominance" expounded by the american war machine also includes the non-stop attack on civilians everywhere and anywhere at every level

so the city workers here in Ontario Canada and the afghan peasants are tied to the same relentless attack by profit seeking corporations

as it has always been

we now have a level of awareness that is new and more focused

we need a movement free of this toxic non-reality offered b the corporations

as in the matrix movie - the red pill blue ill moment is upon us

we take the blue pill and go back to sleep allowing the government to poison us with gmo foods, allow the corporations to carry on the fictitious "war on terror"and more importantly we accept that the government has more "right" to make decisions for us than we do for ourselves

taking the red pill begins to journey of waking up to the debt/war machine that is enslaving the world

it means that each of us has a responsibility to resist

an obligation as free citizens to fight back against this tyranny of made up laws and rules

a good place to start is by turning off the tele
