South Florida has a new reggae television program based out of Fort Lauderdale to tune in to. Rockers TV Media offers features on reggae music and culture, along with profiles on artists and various other stories.

Celebrity News Service spoke with Earl Rootsman Chin, founder of Rockers TV Media and also one of the last people to interview Bob Marley before his death in 1981. Chin said the show plans on doing reggae entertainment reports and discussing subjects such as organic, herbal medications.

He also has an upcoming interview with Ky-Mani Marley, one of Bob Marley's sons, also a musician, to discuss his music and life and the life of his legendary father.

Rockers TV show is currently the most viewed and longest running reggae show in the world. Chin also says the show has the largest archives of reggae music and culture. Chin was presented with the Bob Marley Achievement Award in May 1996 in recognition of the show at the Tameka Regges Awards in Madison Square Garden in New York City.

South Florida residents can catch the show in Miami on Saturdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Channel 19 and in Broward on Sundays from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Channel 76 in North Broward and Channel 79 in South Broward.
