The Reggae Industry’s first Interactive television station is now online. ReggaeWorldTV is currently under going beta testing, and so far the numbers are impressive.

The 24/7 interactive TV channel has seen over 1000 unique views since it opened its doors for beta testing last Friday.

The site boasts an extensive collection of Reggae music videos, interviews, documentaries and short films from around the world.

In addition, the channel will be broadcasting live events and is currently in the process of creating a suite of reggae oriented programming to include newscasts, a talkshow and a countdown program all delivered live to Reggae fans worldwide.

Project Coordinator Lloyd Laing of GRSW Networks, the stations parent company, expressed his expectations, “At this very early stage the numbers are encouraging and we are forging forward carefully to ensure maximum delivery of one of the best online experiences that Reggae has to offer.” He stated.

The site is set for launch on August 2nd 2011 and can be found online at http://www.reggaeworldtv.com.
