this is the second image to document society’s decline in social interaction due to the addiction and dependency on virtual reality. This virtual reality mostly stems from the programs and commercials we see on television, but can also include things such as the Internet and video games.In image two the person is now overcome by the dependency on the virtual. They are isolated and can no longer feel anything real. This is way her tears are black and burned on. They are not real tears, but are in fact a part of a sadness that she has been told to feel. When we watch a program on television, most specifically a sitcom we are told when to laugh. When the laughing track plays we are propelled by instinct to laugh along. It is a fake happiness.
