Religious Conservative Blogger Defends Prop 8 and Ban on Gay Adoption, Says Kids Adopted by Gays Might Become Gay

SistersTalk, a left-leaning political lesbian blogger, interviewed religious conservative blogger Ian Essling on Sunday night.  The two discussed true Republican values, Sarah Palin, Prop 8 and gay adoption. 

Ian Essling defends the passing of Prop 8 and his desire to ban gay adoption, says those children might decide to become gay. (scroll to minute 21 in the interview).  Essling believes voters have the right to decide that gay and lesbian taxpaying citizens do not have the right to marry any consenting adult he or she wants to marry.  Essling believes marriage is a religious institution and that the state should be allowed to define that religious institution.  SistersTalk believes asking the state to define a religious institution is a violation of church and state.
