Rick Santorum, Republican presidential candidate who is just obsessed with homosexuality. Really, really, strangely obsessed with it-to a degree that it is only a matter of time before the inevitable picture of him coming out of a gay bar in leather pants surfaces-believes it is better for children to have no father or even a father in prison, than two male or two female parents. Yes, he hates gays so much he rather would have a felon witha long rap sheet as a young boy or girl's role model, than a a gay couple who provide for him or her and who go to work everyday.

Indeed while only 2% of those adopted by the general population are disabled, an amazing 21% of those adopted by gay men are disabled. The fact is, gay couples are doing amazing work in caring for children who others don't want to adopt. They should be applauded not attacked by

bigots like Santorum who plays on peoples' fears and bigotries. I should not be surprised, the religious rightwing opposed a Muslim American from joining a local Republican party. They want bibles to be

distributed in public schools. In a North Carolina case they did just that but opposed a pagan parent from being able to do so with pagan literature. They are like children with a ball, they don't want to share it (the ball of course being government) and they have a fit if they don't give their way. They need a time out of course, say at least four more years.
