Seth Rogen is awesome. Others don't think so. If you're one of those, then stay away from this movie.

Observe and Report is similar to Mall Cop but different. Both star an over-weight actor in the role of a mall cop that takes his job too seriously. Both characters are in love with a mall employee. Both characters are laughed at and want to prove themselve. Both characters have to deal with cops who think that they should move out of the way. So, what's difference? One is PG and the other is R. One you take your kids too and the other you should definitely not! Seriously. Don't take your kids to this movie. There's two sex scenes and a scene featuring male nudity that gives Borat a run for its money.

Another thing the two movies have in common is that its saved by the star. Mall Cop could have been worse without Kevin James. Observe and Report would have been bad without Rogen. He's perfectly cast as the bi-polar mall cop who should never be taken off his medications. But, again, if you hate Rogen you'll feel differently. Although you might be impressed with his three fight scenes. Rogen playing the Green Hornet won't seem like such a bad idea after watching those scenes.

I love Seth Rogen - I think I am definitely going to see this! I didn't know it was rated R though... :)
