Rick Ross Wears Fake Louis Vuitton Glasses on XXL Cover

Rapper Rick Ross recently appeared on the cover of best-selling of best-selling hip-hop magazine XXL. The cover featured a tight shot of Ross' face, much of which is obscured by a pair of large Louis Vuitton sunglasses. One small problem: those weren't Louis Vuitton glasses.

On the XXL website, editors posted a letter they received from a Louis Vuitton executive stating that Ross is wearing on the XXL cover are fake.

Because the photo has generated considerable confusion among your readers and Louis Vuitton customers among others, we feel it is important to clarify several points.
The first is that the sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.

This is hardly the first time that Rick Ross has had his credibility called into questions. Previously, the rapper lied about working as a prison guard.

Ironically, Ross' cover photo was acommpanied by this quote from Ross: "I've Never Had a Credibility Problem and Still Don't."

Rick Ross with the glass look great and is the boss. He has unique identity and distinct personality with different looks.

Unique identity??? He stole his whole style from the notorious drug dealer Ricky "Freeway" Ross. Down to the bald head and thick beard. In fact, rapper Freeway stole it FIRST! He couldn't even bite an unbitten style! Rick Ross = FAIL. He's made his money, been exposed, and should just quit. Fall back and enjoy the loot he's made and spare any further exposure. Next story to break is he wears panties under his fake [whatever kinda jeans are popular these days]. Or he's really Santa.

XXL set ross up how many magazines let artist wear what they want. I think that they gave him those fake shades tryin to start problems. I tell ya when will they stop hatin on the south
