After nearly a year since its re-launch and corporate restructuring, The Reggae News Agency, more popular known by its online presence RiddimJamaica, has set up its first corporate headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica.

The new self-contained facility, will house a HD video editing suite, an expanded news room, an audio mixing suite, in addition to the Reggae industry’s first Data Mining facility that will monitor and track airplay and internet streaming of reggae singles locally and worldwide.

In addition to the proposed expansion the company plans to roll-out a new suite of products targeted specifically for members of the Reggae industry.
“The Reggae Industry in a 2 Billion US dollar industry that is still in its infancy” States Co-Founder and CEO Lloyd Laing. “We plan to catalyze the industry with turnkey products that will put labels, artists and products at the fingertips of current fans and tap the potential of new ones.”

The new HQ is located in Kingston and will be opened for business on October 1st 2008.

RiddimJamaica was launched in 1995 as the industry first live Internet radio Station. Since then the brand has evolved into a daily magazine and has become the industry’s first independent, syndicated news agency, serving over 30 regions worldwide. With a network of nearly 100 contributors and freelance journalist worldwide, the company receives over 20,000 unique views weekly which serve up nearly 300,000 pages views monthly.
