Rihanna Pics: Nude Photos Hit Web; Was She Sexting Chris Brown?

Rihanna is battling some bad karma these days as a series of candid nude photos of the pop starlet hit the internet May 8, 2009.  The photos, seven in total, show Rihanna in various stages of undress, topless and bottomless, and appear to have been taken by the star herself on her cell phone. 

Please tell me she wasn't sexting Chris Brown! Haven't cell phones and text messages done enough harm between them?  After all, it was an alleged booty call text message from Tina Davis, Brown's former lover, that caused Chris Brown and Rihanna to have their horrific pre-Grammy fight.

No word on who the intended recipient of Rihanna's racy photos may have been but IF she sent them to Chris Brown that would be mistake number one-million for Rihanna in that relationship.  Abusive boyfriends are all about control and often look to humiliate as well as harm the target of their "affections."

Maybe Rihanna needs to watch a little more Law & Order SVU and a lot less Chris Brown court tapes to get her head on straight.  A recent episode of the popular crime drama centered around an abusive boyfriend who lost it and leaked nude photos of his girlfriend to the entire school.

Not that I am saying Chris Brown had anything to do with Rihanna's topless photo leak, if rumors of their break up are at all true he probably has to look at the photos online like everybody else, but stranger things have happened in this modern era of sexting. 

Whether Brown was the intended recipient of Rihanna's private nudie pictures is really irrelevant, what matters is that she appears to be spiraling further and further out of control since Chris Brown's very public domestic assault on her earlier this year.  Rihanna needs help and these nude photos make that crystal clear.

Now Cassie's hacker released nude photos... that's a whole different story.
