Rihanna tweeted out a photo of what appears to be a new tattoo: the words "Thug Life" written across her fingers. The R&B star most likely got the tattoo as a tribute to late rapper Tupac Shakur, who had the phrase "Thug Life" written across his belly.

Rihanna tweeted out a photo that showed her in a Hollywood tattoo parlour with her hands balled into fists to reveal the Thug Life tattoo. The tweet read: “♫ All these b**ches screaming that 2pac back ♫ #THUGLIFE.”

Rihanna also tweeted: "'Tat my f***in name on u girl so I know its real!!! #MINE'"

The Rihanna thug life tattoo was created by Mark Mahony, an artist who has worked on Britney Spears, Nicole Richie, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
