When OK! Magazine ran a cover on it's September 3, 2009 issue proclaiming Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were engaged Twilight fans were stunned, but it turned out to be a reflective ruse. The misleading OK! cover duped fans into believing that fan favorites Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had become engaged with some outrageously incorrect teaser text, however the article inside says nothing of the kind.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are not engaged, but OK! drew a parallel between the characters and the real life stars. Wedding plans figure heavily in the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse. Eclipse is now being filmed in Vancouver and tabloids have been reporting that stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are closer than ever.

It is this budding young romance that led OK! to speculate that life would imitate art in Vancouver and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would become engaged by the time filming wrapped. The sensational and untrue headline may just be a new low in titillating tabloid reporting. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are not engaged and in reality, there is no indication that an engagement is anywhere in the near future.
