Sad for the Edward Cullen fans, but actor Robert Pattinson will not be playing any roles in the Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson fell pry to a rumor claiming he was in the running for the key role of Finnick Odair Catching Fire, the upcoming sequel to The Hunger Games.

Well, he's not.

In fact, his agent told him to not even tickle the idea. Pattinson told USA Today "I woke up this morning and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games. I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, 'No...no one's going to offer you that part.''

As for Pattinson's response? "I was like, 'Thanks for the reassurance.''

But, he does say he's ready to play in other parts. "Playing the same part for a while, you just run out of ideas," he recently told Shortlist about tiring of Twilight. "You feel kind of useless, you don't know what to do anymore. I kind of got to the end of my inspiration. You get to the point where you're like, 'I don't want to do a film for a teen audience any more'."
