Robert Plant chooses Krauss over Zeppelin
Robert Plant, former front man for Led Zeppelin has finally quelled rumors about participating in a Led Zeppelin reunion tour. Speculation began over a year ago, in the lead up to a benefit show in London's O2 arena that raised funds for the Ahmet Ertegün Education Fund.
Plant, 60 appears to have no interest in being a part of a
"cavalcade of merciless repetition."
Instead he plans on working on a follow up album to Raising Sand with Alison Krauss.
Plant has also expressed concerns about the toll of a Rock n' Roll tour as he is getting older.
“When I do come back from touring I’m shocked to find a lot of my mates tend to be going to bed far too early and that means I should probably be doing the same. Maybe I should stop having a good time and get old.”
Plant and Krauss ended their Raising Sand tour in October. The album was nominated for 5 grammy awards including album of the year on Wednesday.

I take issue with the statement that getting older means giving up on fun. Especially if your driver's license says "Plant, Robert".

I love "Raising Sands" and was so disappointed not to get go to their concert in Detroit. I hope they make another great record together. I love Union Staion to, so Alison please don't give up your day job. Same goes for Robert, loved Big Log and Fate of Nations. Just shows, you can't keep the truly talented down, the cream will rise to the top. The best to both of you.
