Robert Redford Married Sibylle Szaggars at Louis C. Jacob Hotel

Actor Robert Redford married his longtime partner Sibylle Szaggars last weekend at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.

Sibylle Szaggars is an acclaimed German visual artist who abstract works have been exhibited internationally. Robert Redford is a renowned actor, director, film producer, political activist and founder of the Sundance Film Festival.

Robert Redford was previously married to Lola Redford (née Lola van Wagenen) from 1958 until their divorce in 1985. Redford has three children from the relationship — daughters Shauna and Amy Hart Redford and son David James ("Jamie") Redford.

Szaggars and Redford are currently based in Napa Valley, California.

Renate Massfeller of the St. Catherine Church in Hamburg said that Pastor Frank Engelbrecht presided over the wedding of the 72-year-old U.S. actor and artist Sibylle Szaggars at the luxury Louis C. Jacob Hotel.

The Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper said 30 friends and family members attended the service.
