Ron Wood of Rolling Stones Arrested For Assaulting Girlfriend

Ron Wood, the 62-year-old guitarist of a legendary British rock band Rolling Stones, was arrested for assaulting his 21-year-old girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova. The incident was allegedly domestic in nature and took place in the middle of Claygate High Street in Esher, England. Wood is currently out on bail until January 2010. Wood divorced from his wife of 24 years Jo Wood last month on the grounds of adultery. He has allegedly been in an on-and-off relationship with the young Russian waitress Ivanova since 2008. Wood has a history of alcohol abuse.
According to spokesman David Rigg, police arrested the 62-year-old in the area of Claygate, southwest of London, on Wednesday after an "incident." He declined further comment.

No Noel you do not have to love it - This incident is the second such violent incident that police have been called to involving Wood in recent months and comes just as the UK government have been highlighting violence against women and girls with the release of their new domestic violence strategy. Nothing to love in this behaviour.
