Ryan Higa, creator of the popular YouTube channel nigahiga, has created yet another over-the-top YouTube video called 2012: End of the World.

Even though Higa’s video is a little eccentric, the YouTube star makes a good point: no one is able to predict the end of the world, so don’t be duped.

Higa complains about people who predict the end of the world, especially those who do so because they are “just a prick because they want to scare people into buying useless things for the end of the world.”

The YouTube personality exaggerates his point with the “2012 Safety Rock,” a rock used to solve “your end of the world problems” like earthquakes and meteors.

Although most people wouldn’t fall for something as silly as a rock to save themselves from the end of the world, I am sure there will be products just as outrageous on the market that some may purchase as 2012 nears December. I just hope that believers use good judgment this year when dealing with the people Ryan Higa calls “pricks.”

I agree with Ryan Higa that no one is truly capable of knowing the outcome of 2012 and I am certain that products similar to the “2012 Safety Rock” will not be the key to survival.

I think I may just risk ultimate destruction without any of those "pricks'" products.
