Entertainment Weekly is Featuring Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern and it is Fan's First Look at the New Movie

Reynolds, who was recently injured on the set of the movie but will be fine, is playing Hal Jordan or Green Lantern in the new movie from Casino Royale director Martin Campbell.

Fans of the comic are eagerly anticipating this movie that will be part of the summer blockbusters in 2011. It will no doubt be a major talking-point at next week's Comic-Con in San Diego.

Reynolds has some experience playing superheroes, but he spoke to Entertainment Weekly of how scared he was having to do stunts like flying through the air on a wire:

“The first time you do it, you’re seriously considering an adult diaper,” Reynolds says. Still, he couldn’t resist the chance to play the beloved DC Comics hero, whose power ring can conjure virtually anything he can dream up. “Will and imagination are his superpowers,” Reynolds says. “We need a circus of Timothy Learys to think of things Hal would invent with his ring.”
