Mumbai: Even as the hoopla over the grandest wedding in the town approaches its crescendo, Saif Ali Khan entered into matrimony with five year long girlfriend Kareena Kapoor today in Mumbai. The high profile couple of Bollywood made it official, as Saif and Kareena went for a registry marriage today with Karisma being one of the witnesses. Along with Karishma, the three primary witnesses were parents of Kareena - Randhir Kapoor and Babita and Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore.

The entire Bollywood fraternity is busy celebrating Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's big fat wedding ceremonies that kick started on Sunday night with a very private sangeet. According to sources, Saif and Kareena got married between 11.30 am and 12 pm when Saif sent his car to fetch Registrar Surekha Lokhare from Bandra Family Court today. Saif, the Nawab of Pataudi entered his original name in the marriage application. Saif Ali Khan signed his papers in the name of Sajid Ali Khan.

What has come as a pleasant surprise though is the presence of Neetu Singh and Sara Khan at the sangeet bash. Neetu Singh, Rishi Kapoor's wife is said to be at loggerheads with Babita, Kareena Kapoor's mother and Randhir Kapoor's wife. It is said that Karisma and Kareena Kapoor missed Ridhima Kapoor's (Neetu's daughter) wedding. Neetu is also said to have given Karishma Kapoor's wedding a miss.However, all seems to be well with Neetu gracing the occasion of Kareena Kapoor's wedding with her presence.


Another surprise element of the evening was the presence of a very pretty girl, who happened to be none other than Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's first born child - Sara Khan. The sweet girl was wearing a pistachio-coloured lehenga and the buzz is that she was accompanied by her mother Amrita Singh and aunt Soha Ali Khan.
