Sarah Palin To Appear On SNL This Weekend

Following Tina Fey's spot-on, popular Palin parodies in recent episodes of SNL, Governor Sarah Palin has confirmed that she will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

Palin will be featured in an episode hosted by actor Josh Brolin who, himself, is taking on a noted political personality in his latest role, portraying President George W. Bush in director Oliver's Stone's new Bush biopic 'W'.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is set to appear on this week's broadcast of "Saturday Night Live," the entertainment show that has featured a popular parody of the Alaska governor by former cast member Tina Fey.

Sweet. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. If only the real Palin was as funny as Tina Fey making fun of her. I can only hope Tina has another spoof up her sleeve for us. I could use a good laugh.

Sarah Palin has arrived in New York for her appearance tonight on SNL:

Palin, 44, told reporters how excited she is to appear on tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live: “I have no idea what to expect because I haven’t seen any scripts or anything else yet, but it will be fun. The opportunity to show American television watchers anyway that you get to have a sense of humor through all of this or even just this really would be wearin’, tearin’ on you, so an opportunity to show that sense of humor and that side of all of this, I look forward to it.”
