Sarah Palin Fires Back at Her Tinseltown Critics
Lashing out at her Tinseltown critics, Sarah Palin fired back at naysayers during last night's (June 28) opening of the documentary "The Undefeated" in Pella, Iowa.
The former vice presidential candidate, whose political life is chronicled in the film, had some harsh words for the liberal hot shots (Matt Damon, Howard Stern and Madonna, just to name a few) who maligned her in the first few minutes of the piece, telling press, "It makes you want to reach out to some of these folks and say, 'What's your problem? And what was the problem? And what is the problem?'"
The one-time Mayor of Wasilla continued, "What would make someone be so full of hate? What would make a celebrity, like you saw onscreen, so hate someone that they'd seek their destruction, their death, the death of their children? What would make someone be so full of hate and, I guess, a sense of being threatened that they would want to see that person destroyed?"
Despite her fiery words, Palin says she doesn't pay too much attention to her Hollywood haters, explaining, "I think the movie does that for me," Palin said. "But you know, there's never really a venue that absolutely lets somebody set the record straight. I mean, there are so many false narratives about me, about Todd, about our kids, about my record, about my team that has worked so hard together, that there's never gonna be a way to absolutely set the record straight."
Of all the celebrities who disagree with her policies, one famous couple did come to Sarah Palin's defense recently.
After nearly 25,000 of the former Alaskan governor's personal e-mails were disclosed to different media outlets, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore took to Twitter to voice their disgust.
The new "Two and a Half Men" star wrote, "As much as I'm not a fan of Sarah Palin, I find sifting through her e-mails repulsive and overreaching," while Moore backed her hubby up by replying, "So agree!"
