Sarah Palin's memoir called Going Rogue: An American Life is set for an early release in November. Palin reportedly wrote the book with her collaborator Lynn Vincent.
Johnathan Burnham of Harper Collins says that the fall is the best time for release of the book, 24 Hours reports, as the publisher wants to capitalize on holiday sales.
Harper Collins is printing 1.5 million copies of the book, the same number of the late Senator Ted Kennedy's memoir True Compass, which released soon after his death a month ago. Sarah Palin's new book is 400 pages long and took 4 months to write. The e-book of Palin's manuscript is expected to be out by December.

Palin can read and write. Get the hell outa here. Considering all the nuts that follow her, I sure hope she has a lot of picture's, because her audience isn't very bright. I would consider them backwood, pecker head racist, but that's just me and million's of others. I sure hope she talks about family value's, because she has none with a teen daughter with a child. I can see russia from my backyard. That was priceless. You sure Tammy Fey didn't write the book for her? LOL

You should have had someone check your post for spelling and grammar. It doesn't pay to write (and think) like you do and criticize ANYONE. Whew, buddy. Doesn't look for your team.

Do crayons come with the "book"?

Is it just me or does it seem to anyone else that those who disagree with Sarah Palin (and anyone else who has a conservative point of view) resort to Junior High type put downs and name calling?

No, it's not you. She and her followers have a grade school mentality, so we respond to there level of education so they can understand.

I think it's the other way around !!

She and her followers have a grade school mentality, so we respond to there level of education so they can understand.Any child in grade school would have written 'their' instead of 'there'. I am sorry, Tom. Did you not make it out of grade school? How low do we have to stoop to reach your "level" of education?

She's a bad ass. I have never understood why people waste their time shit talking others when its not like she'll ever hear you or that your opinion of her will ever matter to her. Grow up. You don't like something? Do something about it. Don't sit on your ass and wait for the government to fix all your problems.

So everyone with a teen daughter who has a child is a pecker head racist? wow, this sure includes lots of minority families! Tom Slick probably does not even have a job let alone being able to get elected as Governor of one of the United States of America. Amazing how some people attack the personal values of other but hate it when their values (or lack there of) are judged.

Millions will be buying her book. She's classy, smart, beautiful, and a great mother and wife.It will be refreshing to here the real truth about her life and her real success stories. The liberals are so scared of her because she's what the American people really want in a President . Wouldn"t it be nice to have a President that is proud of her country and the American people. Obama is a disgrace ! He shows to all of us, he has a form of mental illness proven by his outrageous behaviors and bizzare decisions and the dictators he supports in the world . The American people are waking up finally. Thankyou for writing this book Sarah Palin. I'll be waiting in line

I hope the book tells more of her story than you can get in the govenment run media. Half of the sales will be generated from liberals looking for fodder to use in their social circles. Of course those liberals who do get the book will have to order online so it will come in a brown wrapper, and burn after reading to make sure none of their freinds knows they have even touched it. Those liberals who don't have the book will need to get they're cannon fodder from those who have read parts of it. Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air from the north that seems to return us to the days when people cared about the environment and country God has blessed us with.

Did Bill Ayers ghost write this for her like he ghost wrote Dreams of my Father? Because there's no way Obama wrote it.

Guess what-the American people voted and they picked Obama in a landslide. Sarah Palin is what narrow-minded, uneducated people like because she's one of them, and proves it over and over. Surprise-we don't have government run media-that's what they have in Russia, China, Myanmar. If you had an education you might know that, but then again, you probably believe that you can see Russia from Alaska, too. Obama is what the American people have been craving after 8 year of Bush lies, bumbling, and incompetence. Sarah Palin would be more of the same, but with better legs.
at 15:07 on September 29th, 2009
Obama is not what I have been craving for eight years. Change, yes. Obama, no. I think the "change" that will take place under the Obama Administration is going to be a shock to many of us, regardless of political party. America has been asleep at the wheel.

To Straight Shooter: My views used to be conservative, years ago before conservative meant right-wing, and before it meant "conservatives-for-a-theocracy." Contrary to popular belief, this country was not founded for religious freedom. It was "founded" because Europe ran out of wood, and European monarchs were running out of gold. European monarchs also decided which religion the populace would embrace and tortured "heretics." That being said, why is Sarah Palin still getting any press at all? She touts virtues and family values, and implies that only certain Americans are worthy of this country. She also claims to know the will of God. "A few weeks ago, Sarah Palin confirmed that she had made a deal with the Wasilla Assembly of God, to use her power in government in order to make sure that the will of God would be accomplished. That holy will would include a fossil fuel pipleline and a continued holy war in Iraq. In that appearance, Palin referred approvingly of an earlier speech by her spiritual mentor, Thomas Muthee, who said that Palin was part of a larger effort to “infiltrate” the American government on behalf of a right wing Christian agenda, “invading” our secular government in order to convert it into a thoroughly Christian institution. Just a few weeks ago, Muthee returned to the Wasilla Assembly of God, where it was pronounced that the church would “stomp on the heads of the enemy” – the enemy being non-Christians in America, whom the church claimed were aligned with demonic “python spirits”. In addition to her theocratic philosophy, she took on public responsibility at the expense of her family, and then, when she could not fulfill her public responsiblity, she quit. Her self-opinion became dangerously inflated when the Republican party chose her to run for Vice-President, and she began to think she could actually do it, without giving any thought to the effect on her family and her state. She did not stop to think, or maybe she did, that her gender was being used to counterbalance the effect of Obama's race on the voters. It was stunning that an American of color was a presidential nominee, so the other party needed a woman to balance the scale. The fact that Palin was a novice politician should have given her pause as to the reason she was chosen. The conservatives not only needed a woman, they also needed someone reasonably young, which left out the more mature, more experienced women who could have served admirably. She should not have been flattered or honored to be used in such a way. The fact that so many people approve of her and would actually vote for her is scary. It would be interesting to know on what they based their decision. Palin knows nothing about foreign policy, she knows nothing about domestic policy, and she believes in a theocracy - just the thing the "founding fathers" were against. The founding fathers regarded the combination of church and state as anathema. Iran has a theocracy. Is that what Palin's followers really want? Those who respond to Sarah Palin with name-calling, etc., are simply frustrated with folks who don't do their homework on the candidates. It is childish to call another human beings degrading names. It causes loss of credibility when one must resort to name-calling instead of stating facts. Admittedly, none of the candidates are perfect, but some candidates are less perfect than others. No matter how great it sounds, a country cannot be run on "family values," especially when some candidates have no values at all, but espouse that they do. I'm not necessarily talking about Sarah Palin, since she seems to have Conservative Christian values, and that would certainly appeal to Conservative Christians. I'm a Christian, too - but I see the value in separating church and state. To bring religion, anyone's religion, into the act of governing, is not only disrespect for diverse religions, it is also an attack on religious freedom. I retain my "Christian " values without wanting to impose them on others. The best "Christian values" are demonstrated, not imposed or forced on others. The reason I put quotes around "Christian values" is because other religions have good values, too. In fact, Christ had Hebrew values. Muslims have values they practice, as well. So do all other religions. As long as those values do not break the law or do harm to anyone, they are valid. Any religious value forced upon another is an act of fanaticism and terrorism, no matter what religion it is - exactly the reason the founding fathers (who were deists, by the way,) did not want this new country (that they stole from the Native Peoples) to be a theocracy. Nowhere in this opinion did I call Sara Palin any disrespectful name or attack her personally; I kept to the facts. This is more than can be said of Representative Wilson from North Carolina who recently called out "You lie," to the President when he was addressing the House. In reality, the Representative was dead wrong in his accusation - there is NO provision for health care for ILLEGAL immigrants in the President's health care bill. Yet another Representative (Trent from Arizona) recently called the President "an enemy of humanity" regarding the President's policies on abortion. Trent said, " A president that has lost his way that badly, that has no ability to see the image of God in these little fellow human beings, if he can't do that right, then he has no place in any station of government and we need to realize that he is an enemy of humanity. ” The quote from Rep. Trent shows how the conservatives have gone off the track concerning democracy and favor theocratic laws. In America's democracy, abortion is legal. To make a "fire and brimstone" statement about the Presidents policies on abortion is simply smear-tactics meant to appeal to those who favor a religion-run government. Invoking the image of God is irrelevant to the law. It is relevant to those whose religious beliefs condemn abortion - but that's the great thing about this non-theocracy - if you do not want an abortion, you do not have to have one. In a theocracy, there would be no choice. Invoking the image or the will of God is hubristic. It is the way Iran is governed. Imagine, the Iranian government knows the will of God, but somehow, that does not match up with the Conservative American knowledge of the will of God. It's an enigma..... There is no need for name-calling or smear tactics or misleading the public ("death panels") when the facts are available. When Americans are polarized over such things that have no place in America (intolerance, fanatacism, etc.), we all lose. There will be no ground for decent discussion as long as "might makes right" and people shout at one another and do not bother to listen to the other side of the story - no matter what party one favors.

Hi I don't see any reason to be putting Sarh Palin down. All the put downs people are writing is amazing. Have any of you acomplished anything close to what she has. It's wrong in my opinion for someone to write anything on a public forum when they have never met, or even come close to what she has done. I belive you must be jealous of her and can only put her down to somehow make yourself seem better. Make you own opinion based on facts from now on and stop being a follower of other peoples opinions. For me I have nothing against her and admire what she has accomplished. have you accomplished anything. To put her or her daughter down for having a baby out of wedlock is shameful and you are putting everyone down when you make those statements, not just Sarah Palin. Stop making stupid judgements and accusations. You are the one that has a problem. Joey

Ready for release in November, huh, should hit the dollar store shelves by Christmas!

The reason why her enemies hate her is because she scares the hell out of them. They saw it the very first day she became the Vice Presidential candidate. She is a real american, born in the USA, the daughter of real americans parents, parents who taught her values and gave her an education so she could some day make a diference in this country of ours. Sarah Palin is going to be the next president of the United States, and when she does become the next President, the Obama love boat will go sailing into the wild blue yonder, there in that boat will be his Zcards, his hollywood druggies, his Oprah cookies, and his Oprah french fries and his Oprah IOU. I have to laugh at my own words because is so funny that this man who does not know how to be president goes around still campaigning to be president, hello, does he not know that he asked for it and that he lied to his flock of pidgeons about "change", what change? Go Sarah Palin, show him how to do the job of President of the United States with out having to kiss dictator's behinds so they give him Loveeeeee.
