Two murder suicides in one week, lovers whose lives ended for no reason, as families come to grip and say why?
Calgary's Murder Suicide of the Lall family by the husband who stabbed his wife and children to death, caused by his seeing visions.
Then a Calgary native living with his girlfriend in New Orleans, a community outside Ottawa strangles his wife in her jeep and hangs himself in their garage as his lovers body lay a few feet away. The man's Family in Calgary most likely are asking the same questions the Lall family are, WHY?

Ryan Sawchuk and Alicia Bateman had planned to marry, now both are dead by his hand
Inside the Orleans two-storey, red brick home, Ryan Sawchuk hangs dead in the garage -- his feet off the ground -- a makeshift noose around his neck.
A few feet away, his high school sweetheart, Alicia Bateman, sits strangled in her Jeep Cherokee. She's bound to the seat by her neck.
Police found Sawchuk first. They cut him down and carried his body to the kitchen where paramedics tried to resuscitate him.
Moments later they found Bateman in the garage. They untied her and brought her into the driveway.
Neighbour Cynthia Harps watched paramedics pump her chest but it was too late. The pretty, petite blonde was dead.Bateman moved in the home at 30
Without telling anyone, Sawchuk booked a last-minute flight from Calgary to Ottawa Saturday morning.
By 5 p.m., the long-distance couple, who were planning a September wedding, were dead at his hand.
She was planning to leave him and he couldn't live without her, his family told the Sun from Calgary yesterday.
Six hours later, Ryan's paternal grandmother Mary Sawchuk heard a knock at the door. It was Ryan's father Barry Sawchuk.
"Ryan's dead," he told her.
"I just broke out in tears. I said 'what do you mean Ryan's dead?'"

Well this story is very typical of abusive controlling males. When the woman tries to leave, he kills her. Battered women are most at risk after they leave. That's the main reason women don't leave. "Why did she stay"...with him, in a relationship with him, people ask. That's why. There's no 'can't live without her'. It's how dare you think you can leave me. I'll show you.
